Mallory Brooks - Is a Senior at LSU majoring in Kinesiology, with plans of attending Physical Therapy school after graduation.  She is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, whose philanthropic mission is Service for Sight.  She enjoys running and participating in both marathons and triathlons.  Mallory and her sorority sisters are currently volunteering as sighted guides for Diane Legendre

Craig Geraci - Craig is one of the original founders of the Shared Vision Track Club, and is an attorney with Rushing and Guice, P.L.L.C in Ocean Springs, MC.  Although he is a huge sports enthusiast, he was never a big runner until he helped start the SVTC.  Craig is the Vice-President of the track club, and currently heads up our New Orleans group and volunteers weekly as a guide.

Melissa Hawayek - Melissa has been running for the past several years, and is currently an Account Executive at Kinetic Concepts, Inc.  Melissa had no experience as a sighted guide prior to working with the Shared Vision Track Club, but now routinely volunteers as a guide for runners in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Diane Legendre- Diane is a 56 year old legally blind mother of two teenagers, who currently works for the State of Louisiana.  She had not run for the past 28 years, and was really excited about the opportunity to begin again with the help of the Shared Vision Track Club and the guides from the Delta Gamma sorority.  Her current goal is to run a 5k race in Spring of 2009.

Julie Russell - Julie joined the New Orleans Chapter of the Shared Vision Track Club when it first began.  Since becoming blind thirteen years ago while at Newcomb College in New Orleans she has obtainted her Master's Degree from Tulane University and worked as a Clinical Social Worker in New Orleans and Bethesda, MD.  She enjoys spending time with friends, going to movies, and travelling.  In her off hours away from work, she is always looking for her next adventure.

Phil Templet - Phil went completely blind 6 years ago, at the age of 40, and had never run prior to helping start the Shared Vision Track Club.  He is currently participating in our "Couch to 5K" program, and hopes to run his first 5k by the end of the year.  Phil has already caught the running bug, and has set a personal goal of running a half-marathon.  When he isn't running, Phil works as an educator at the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired and servers on the board of several non-profit organizations.

John Voiter - John is an Account Executive for a Generic Injectable Company and has been an avid triathlete since 2001.  While at a race this past summer he witnessed a blind individual complete a triathlon and is looking forward to partnering with a visually impaired triathlete from the New Orleans area.

Rich Scott - Rich is a Sales Manager for a medical device company and has been an avid runner for the past decade.  Inspired by his son, who is legally blind, he decided to start the Shared Vision Track Club in an effort to help blind and visually impaired individuals become more active.  He is currently training with Phil Templet to help him run his first 5k.
